Preview: FSU vs Syracuse Men’s Basketball: Where To Watch, Time, And More!
On Tuesday, January 23rd, FSU will take on the Syracuse Orange in Syracuse, New York. Tip off is at 7:00 PM and you can watch it on ESPN2.
The Seminoles are coming into this game with a 11-7 record with a loss to Clemson in their most recent game. The Noles were on a 5 game ACC win streak before their game against the Tigers wiped it away. They are ready to bounce back and get on track again in their race to get into March Madness.
The Orange have a better record coming in at 13-5. They beat Miami in their most recent game, who FSU beat less than a week ago. Syracuse is on a two game win streak when the Noles invade JMA Wireless Dome.
FSU needs to rely heavily on Jamir Watkins, who has shown that he is the best player on the team. He leads the team in average points scored, rebounds, assists, and steals. Last game, he led the team in points scored with 15. FSU also needs to rely on Darin Green, Baba Miller, and Primo Spears.
In order to win, the Noles need to stop guard Judah Mintz who is averaging near 18 points per game, which is a team high. They need to lock down the high flying offensive scheme from the Orange.
ESPN analytics give FSU a 33 percent chance of winning. I think it will be an uphill battle for the Noles, who have to travel up to Syracuse, New York. Catch the postgame article right here and get live updates on the twitter page!
