FSU Averaged Highest Home Attendance Since 2014
When the Noles started off the season by murdering number 5 LSU, Seminole fans were ecstatic to have a good team again. They flooded Doak in great numbers, numbers we have not seen in years.

This past season, FSU averaged their highest attendance rates since 2014. The Noles sold out 5 out of 6 home games and averaged 78,711 fans. That averages to a 98.9 percent capacity per game. It has not been that high since Jameis Winston and the 2014 Seminoles who averaged 82,211 fans. Before 2014, the last time it was that high was in 2007 when they averaged 80,597.
FSU’s attendance jumped 17% from the 2022-23 season, up from the 15% jump the year before. In the 2022-23 season, the Noles averaged 67,254 fans. In the 23-24 season, that jumped up 11,457 fans.
All of this was because of Jordan Travis and crew who put on a show this past season, going 13-0 and winning the ACC championship. During the down years from 2017-2021, some people thought that FSU fans did not care enough to show up. Attendance rates were slipping rapidly and they averaged in the mid to upper 50,000s. Fans of rivals such as Miami made fun of how empty the stands were. Fast forward to this year, Miami averaged 49,714 fans this year, which is 28,997 less than FSU.
With the new renovations coming to Doak, FSU will not see those numbers again in the near future. Next season, the capacity will hover around 50,000 due to the entire home sideline being demolished. After renovations are complete in 2025, capacity will be around 70,000 which is 9 thousand less than what it is now. Maybe in the future FSU will expand, but for now FSU will not be sniffing 78,711 fans at an FSU game again.
