4 Star ATH Amaree Williams Commits To Florida State
FSU just landed a huge commit from Palm Beach County, Florida. No. 1 ATH in the nation Amaree Williams has committed to the Seminoles on a sunny Saturday afternoon.
Williams played both receiver and defensive end for Benjamin this past year. He helped lead them to a playoff run. Williams caught 16 passes for 424 yards and 7 touchdowns. He averaged 26 yards per catch and 47 yards per game. Not only was he a star receiver, he was even better on the defensive line. He racked up 34 total tackles and 8 tackles for loss. He also got 4 sacks the past season. The season before, he had a monster year, with 15 sacks, and 40 total tackles.
Amaree was supposed to be graduating in the class of 2025, but he decided to reclassify to 2024. He was already one of the top athletes coming out of the 2025 class. Williams visited the Noles after reclassifying on December 15th. He decided to not sign on early national signing day and wait until February.
He chose the Noles over the likes of Miami, Florida, Georgia, and USC, among others.
This is a big pickup for the Noles. He has proven he can play both sides of the ball and he has the endurance too. He will not be an immediate impact player because he is still young, but with Norvell and company he can develop and could become the next great defensive end to come out of FSU.
